Meadowfoam Oil (Limnanthes alba): a native wildflower found along waterways in northern California, southern Oregon, and British Columbia. Meadowfoam oil’s composition of 98% long-chain fatty acids gives it extraordinary emollience - protecting, soothing, and softening as it is rapidly and easily absorbed into the skin. It gives our Moisturizing Serum its smooth, silky feel.

Cole & Jade sources our meadowfoam oil from farms in Canada. Each batch is carefully lab tested for purity and quality.

Sea Buckthorn Oil (Hippophae Rhamnoides): a spiny shrub with bright red or yellow berries native to the northern regions of Asia. These berries are said to be the single highest vegetal source of Vitamin C, Vitamin E, unsaturated fatty acids, and essential amino acids, along with beta-carotene, which gives them their bright color. Sea Buckthorn Oil is excellent for skin regeneration and repair, and is especially effective in the healing of dry, flaky, or rapidly aging skin. Moreover, Sea Buckthorn Oil has been show to improve circulation and facilitate oxygenation of the skin. When absorbed by the skin, the oil’s gamma-linolenic acid is converted to prostaglandins, which decrease inflammation and inhibit the aging process.

Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera biennis): a small tree native to eastern and central North America, which has long been cultivated around the world for its beauty. This oil is obtained from the seeds of the Evening Primrose by cold pressing. Use of this oil in small amounts helps to sustain a rejuvenated and healthy-looking complexion. Evening Primrose is ideal to use on dry skin.
